Pero, adem\u00e1s, este importante centro tambi\u00e9n se encarga del control del tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo en pr\u00e1cticamente la mitad del Atl\u00e1ntico Norte, delimitando por el este con el centro de control de Santa Mar\u00eda, en las Azores, y por el norte con los centros de Gander y Shanwick.<\/div>\n

What is ZNY? New York Air Route Traffic Control Center. It controls a small chunk of domestic airspace and a massive chunk of oceanic airspace. Six areas, A through F, with A through D being domestic and E and F being oceanic. Located in Ronkonkama, NY by Islip Airport.<\/p>\n

Los aeropuertos del \u00e1rea de Nueva York est\u00e1n bajo la condici\u00f3n \u00abATC Zero\u00bb, ning\u00fan avi\u00f3n que est\u00e9 en el suelo puede despegar y tiene que seguir las instrucciones de los centros de control de los aeropuertos donde se encuentren.<\/div>\n

Bajo estas condiciones est\u00e1n los aeropuertos de La Guardia, JFK, Teterboro o Newark, entre otros. Se est\u00e1 habilitando otro centro de control en una instalaci\u00f3n aislada en Westbury, aunque esto podr\u00eda tardar alg\u00fan tiempo en activarse.<\/div>\n
