Cuando pensamos en un avi\u00f3n potente quiz\u00e1s un CRJ-900 no sea el primer avi\u00f3n de la lista. Sin embargo, todo es relativo. En el peque\u00f1o aeropuerto de San Luis Obispo, a medio camino entre Los \u00c1ngeles y San Francisco (California) un CRJ-900 es un avi\u00f3n grande, a pesar de ser un avi\u00f3n regional del segmento de menos de 100 plazas.\u00a0<\/div>\n

El 27 de marzo, tras un mantenimiento rutinario en uno de los motores, la aeronave fu\u00e9 posicionada en un lugar del aeropuerto para hacer una prueba de motores durante la cual se establecen diferentes potencias durante diferentes periodos de tiempo con el fin de comprobar que los motores responden de manera acorde a como deber\u00edan hacerlo y que la reparaci\u00f3n se ha realizado correctamente. Sin embargo, parece que el posicionamiento de la aeronave esta vez fu\u00e9 err\u00f3neo.<\/div>\n

2020-03-27: American Eagle (Envoy AL) Canadair CRJ’s jet blast turned over smaller aircraft and demolished a hangar structure while doing engine runs at Luis Obispo Airport (KSBP), CA, USA. Fortunately no one was injured.<\/p>\n

La mayor\u00eda de los aviones que vuelan desde y hacia el aeropuerto de San Luis Obispo son peque\u00f1os monomotores a h\u00e9lice particulares, por lo que un avi\u00f3n de estas dimensiones, a reacci\u00f3n, es bastante peligroso, como en efecto as\u00ed ha sido. Al poner los motores a m\u00e1xima potencia, el jet blast ha volcado un Cessna 172 y ha da\u00f1ado al menos otros 4 aviones. Pero, quiz\u00e1s el da\u00f1o m\u00e1s aparatoso que ha causado es la destrucci\u00f3n de un hangar que estaba abierto en el momento de la prueba, el cual ha hecho volar por los aires como se puede ver en el video.<\/div>\n

Por suerte, nadie ha salido herido durante este incidente, aunque la oficina del Sheriff ya se encuentra investigando el suceso.<\/div>\n
