La compa\u00f1\u00eda con base en Seattle ha seguido finalmente el camino que muchas otras aerol\u00edneas han optado y es el de asegurarse un ingreso de efectivo utilizando sus aviones como garant\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Alaska Airlines ya recibi\u00f3 una partida del presupuesto de la Ley Cares para el transporte<\/strong>. Sin embargo, esta partida cubre principalmente los sueldos de los empleados y las cuotas urgentes<\/strong> a los principales acreedores, sobre todo a aquellos que dependan de la actividad directa de la aerol\u00ednea como podr\u00edan ser, por ejemplo, las aerol\u00edneas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as que realizan vuelos regionales para una aerol\u00ednea m\u00e1s grande.<\/p>\n

Pero, para poder asegurarse suficiente efectivo para cubrir sus costes administrativos y otros importantes costes fijos, la direcci\u00f3n de la aerol\u00ednea ha anunciado mediante una nota emitida a los accionistas el pasado 6 de julio, que ha conseguido recaudar 1.173.939.000 d\u00f3lares utilizando para ello 61 de sus aviones como garant\u00eda.<\/strong> Estos han sido: 26 B737-800, 16 B737-900ER y 19 E175LR, todos ellos en propiedad.<\/p>\n

Los activos m\u00e1s valiosos que posee cualquier aerol\u00ednea son los slots y los derechos de rutas internacionales (tambi\u00e9n se incluyen a veces los activos inmobiliarios), adem\u00e1s de los aviones<\/strong> siempre y cuando estos sean en propiedad y no pesen sobre ellos grav\u00e1menes. Si los aviones de la compa\u00f1\u00eda cumplen con estas condiciones, se pasa a hacer una tasaci\u00f3n y se ofrece a la compa\u00f1\u00eda un precio por cada uno de ellos, en funci\u00f3n de su estado, mantenimiento reciente, ciclos, horas de vuelo, etc.<\/p>\n
