Adrian Neuhauser\u00a0<\/strong>fue promovido como CEO de\u00a0Avianca<\/b>, y a pesar de que ven\u00eda desempe\u00f1\u00e1ndose como Chief Financial Officer (CFO) desde junio de 2019, es ahora su responsabilidad comandar la mayor aerol\u00ednea de Colombia.<\/p>\n

Neuhauser convers\u00f3 con Portafolio sobre el reto de reactivar a la aerol\u00ednea en un escenario a\u00fan de pandemia y con alta competencia del modelo ‘low cost’, mientas la compa\u00f1\u00eda contin\u00faa su proceso de reorganizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo les ha ido con\u00a0la reactivaci\u00f3n del\u00a0sector y con qu\u00e9 capacidad est\u00e1n volando?
\n\u200b<\/b>
\nNo es justo mirarlo como porcentaje de la flota, porque s\u00ed estamos usando la mayor\u00eda de los aviones, pero menos horas. Estamos en un poco m\u00e1s de 50% del conteo de vuelos, algo m\u00e1s de 300 diarios, cuando normalmente Avianca volaba 600. Es una combinaci\u00f3n de un mercado dom\u00e9stico que se ha recuperado en algo m\u00e1s de 60% y de un mercado internacional que viene por debajo del 50%.<\/p>\n

Uno de los planes era que la aerol\u00ednea se har\u00eda m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a, luego de un a\u00f1o en cap\u00edtulo 11, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tanto ha sido esa reducci\u00f3n?

\nM\u00e1s que eso es que va a ser una l\u00ednea a\u00e9rea m\u00e1s simple y eficiente, vamos a utilizar mejor los activos, por eso si se ve por cantidad de aviones vamos a tener 15% menos, pero si se mira por capacidad es 10% m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Cuando toda la red se basa en conectividad, los aviones pasan mucho tiempo en tierra esperando conectar, nos van a ver ofreciendo mucha m\u00e1s oferta punto a punto, en especial en internacional, desde las ciudades principales.<\/p>\n
