El nuevo avi\u00f3n supers\u00f3nico de la NASA, apodado ‘Hijo de Concorde’, avanza en su construcci\u00f3n, y complet\u00f3, a finales de enero, varias semanas de\u00a0pruebas en el t\u00fanel de viento<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Este proceso fue realizado con un modelo a escala del X-59 QueSST (Quiet SuperSonic Technology) en el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de Glenn en Cleveland, Ohio (EE.UU.). Las\u00a0evaluaciones fueron unas de las \u00faltimas en el t\u00fanel de viento, dado que la agencia espacial estadounidense prev\u00e9 efectuar los primeros vuelos de la aeronave,\u00a0m\u00e1s silenciosa<\/strong>\u00a0que otras de su tipo, a finales de este a\u00f1o para probar su ‘aeronavegabilidad’.<\/p>\n

\u00abEsta es la oportunidad del equipo de obtener datos sobre los bajos niveles de sonido que se producen en el t\u00fanel\u00bb,\u00a0expres\u00f3\u00a0Clayton Meyers, subgerente de proyectos de Tecnolog\u00eda Supers\u00f3nica Comercial de la NASA.<\/p>\n

Mientras tanto, el\u00a0avi\u00f3n supers\u00f3nico\u00a0sigue en proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n en las instalaciones de Lockheed Martin, en la ciudad de Palmdale, California (EE.UU.).<\/p>\n
